Traccar

Traccar is a GPS tracking server that receives position reports from trackers, phones and vehicles and plots them on an interactive map. It speaks a range of common tracking protocols, so consumer GPS devices and mobile apps report straight to your own instance, and it adds geofences, alerts, trip history and reporting on drivers, vehicles and mileage.

Families use it to follow a car, a delivery vehicle or a child with a phone, while small businesses track their fleet and review where each vehicle has been.

Since the server is yours, location history never leaves your building, there is no per-vehicle subscription, and the database of stored positions is yours to back up and restore.
