The standard graphical administration environment for PostgreSQL, developed by the PostgreSQL Global Development Group. It combines a query tool with schema design features such as an ERD viewer, a schema diff tool, backup and restore actions, and user and permission management.

Database administrators and backend developers use it to inspect tables, tune queries and manage roles without living in the psql prompt.
