PeerTube
PeerTube is a video hosting platform that federates through ActivityPub, so videos uploaded to one instance can be followed and embedded from another. It handles the full publishing lifecycle with transcoding into several resolutions, subtitles, chapters, a moderation queue, an RSS feed and a plugin system, and it can run several channels on one server.
People use it to host their own channel, to run an instance for a community or a school, or to move away from a single commercial video platform, and it can be deployed on your own infrastructure.
Hosting an instance keeps your uploads and subscriber list on your own hardware, avoids per-channel or per-view pricing, and means the video files and database can be backed up on your own schedule.
