OctoPrint

OctoPrint is a web interface for the OctoPrint server that turns a 3D printer into something you can drive from a browser. It adds a live camera stream of the print bed, a G-code viewer, filament usage and cost estimates, a temperature and print time dashboard, and a large plugin ecosystem for extra hardware and workflows.

Makers use it to watch long prints remotely, swap filament mid-job, spot failed prints and keep a history of every job their machine has run.

Running the printer stack on your own network keeps the camera feed and design files inside the house, nothing is billed per print or per maker, and a backup of the config folder restores the whole setup.
