Databasus
Databasus is an open-source, self-hosted backup tool that schedules database snapshots and, for PostgreSQL, streams the write-ahead log so a restore can target any moment between backups. Archives can be written to S3, Google Drive, SFTP, or local disks, progress is reported to Slack, Discord, Telegram, or email, and the tool restores the latest backup into a throwaway database to prove it is actually usable.
Teams use it for disaster recovery planning and scheduled copies of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB instances.
Keeping the tool on your own server means recovery points sit on storage you administer, and the schedule, retention, and notification rules stay in your hands.
